Staff

Our team is designed to assist you in remaining faithful to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church when celebrating the Most Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist. Additional support is also available for training employees and parishioners who either participate as ministers to the faithful or simply want to increase their understanding of our faith.

Rev. Msgr. Kenneth J. Hedrick
Director

Msgr. Kenneth Hedrick was ordained to the priesthood in 1973 for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Notre Dame Seminary and a Master of Arts degree in Liturgical Research from the University of Notre Dame. He served as the Director of the Office of Worship from 1986 - 1998 and reappointed as Director in 2010. In addition to his ministry in the Office of Worship, Msgr. Hedrick has served as a professor at Notre Dame Seminary and as the pastor of several parishes in the Archdiocese. He is currently also the pastor of St. Angela Merici Parish.

Mrs. Betty-Ann M. Hickey
Associate Director

Betty-Ann Hickey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministry from Providence College and is nearing completion of a Master of Arts degree in Theology, with a concentration in liturgical and sacramental theology, also from Providence College. Before being appointed in 2011 as the Associate Director of the Office of Worship, Betty-Ann served for seventeen years in parish ministry and eleven years as a parish director of music and liturgy.

Ms. Mary H. Netzhammer

After two years with a local law firm, Mary spent 27 years as an Administrative Professional with a sales and marketing office for a major consumer products company managing daily operations, training, and sales support. Anticipating her retirement from that company, she joined the staff in the Office of Worship. She has also worked with both St. Edward the Confessor and St. Francis of Assisi parishes.
